QUEENS — An 82-year-old man was struck and killed by a vehicle while crossing a street in Little Neck Wednesday evening, police said.
Louis Friend was hit at Union Turnpike and 265th Street by a Honda CRV traveling westbound just after 6 p.m., the FDNY said.
He was rushed to North Shore Hospital in cardiac arrest, officials said.
Friend, who lived a few blocks away, died a short time later, police said.
No criminality is suspected, police added.
