MANHATTAN — Cops expecting a "Breaking Bad" style drug den raided a Hell's Kitchen apartment Monday — and found a man trying to make himself a sweet smelling bath.

Police raided the 431 W. 54th St. home after neighbors complained of a strange, toxic smell — and suggested the address was being used as a meth lab, an NYPD source said.

But, after the building was evacuated and a bomb squad was brought in to deal with the potentially explosive "lab," they found a man making his own spa-style bath salts, the source said.

Police said that there was no criminality suspected in the investigation at this time.
