Man Fatally Struck on Subway Tracks at Gramercy 6 Station

GRAMERCY — An unidentified man was found dead underneath a 6 train early Saturday morning, police said.

The victim, who was in his 50s, was believed to have been struck by a southbound train, police said. He was found at the 23rd Street station at Park Avenue South, around 4:30 a.m.

Police said it did not appear there was any criminality involved, and that the person appeared to be homeless.
