BROOKLYN — A man was struck by a train at the Church Avenue B/Q station in Brooklyn during Friday evening's rush hour, officials said.

The victim was hit by a northbound train at the station, at Church Avenue and 18th Street, about 6:45 p.m., the FDNY said.

He was taken to Kings County Hospital in critical condition, the FDNY said.

It was not immediately clear how the man wound up on the tracks.

After the incident, northbound B and Q trains were running express from Kings Highway station to Prospect Park station, the MTA said. The MTA advised customers to expect delays on the Q line.
