CROWN HEIGHTS — A teacher's assistant has been arrested after getting into a physical altercation with a student, police said Tuesday.

Rafiu Saka, 65, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child within P.S. 191, near Ralph Avenue, according to the NYPD and Department of Education officials.

Police did not release information about the alleged incident.

No injuries were reported.

Saka has been suspended without pay pending an investigation into the incident, an Education Department spokeswoman said.

Saka had worked at P.S. 191 since 2009, and has worked in at least three Brooklyn schools since joining the Education Department in 1999, officials said.
