By Jesse Lent | January 6, 2013 4:29pm

THE BRONX — Police are asking for the public’s help in apprehending a man wanted for
the December 27 robbery of a deli in Morrisania.

The suspect walked into Intervale Superior Deli at 8 p.m., brandishing a firearm, and demanded money, police said. After grabbing money out of the cash register of the Intervale Avenue shop, the 6-foot-tall man held the gun to the head of the store cashier while pushing him to the ground, cops said, before taking off.

The suspect is described as between the ages of 20 and 30, and weighing 200 pounds, police said, with black hair and brown eyes. The suspect was last seen wearing dark pants, a light brown winter jacket, a hooded sweatshirt and an olive-colored winter hat.

Anyone with information about the incident should submit a tip at NYPD Crime Stoppers or call 800-577-TIPS (8477).
