Greenwich Village Jewelry Thieves Caught on Camera, Cops Say

MANHATTAN — A man and woman broke into a West 13th Street building earlier this month and made off with jewelry and electronics, police said.

Cops said the burglars hit 128 W. 13th St., an apartment building on the quiet block between Sixth and Seventh avenues, on Tuesday, Dec. 4.

The thieves entered the six-story building through a window, police said. They were caught on building surveillance cameras around 3 p.m. Dec. 4 lugging a red duffel bag through the lobby.

The value of the stolen goods was not immediately available.
