UPPER WEST SIDE — A 35-year-old woman was the victim of an alleged sexual assault shortly after 6 a.m. Saturday morning just off Central Park West and West 103rd Street.
According to police reports, the victim was headed south on Seventh Avenue when a 6-foot-tall male approached her near West 113th Street.
They then entered the park together, where the attack occurred, the victim told police. Police did not have any further details about the incident.
As far as police know, the victim was not previously known to attacker.
Police did not have any further distinguishable features about the man, including age or clothing, and were still investigating the incident, a spokesman said Saturday.
