Man Suffers Electrical Burns Near NYU Medical Center

MANHATTAN — A man suffered electrical burns to his arm Thursday near NYU Langone Medical Center, which has been largely closed to the public since Hurricane Sandy hit.

A call reporting the incident came in around 1:40 p.m., a fire department spokesman said.

The victim, who is likely in his 30s, suffered minor injuries that may include burns to his forearm, the spokesman said.
