MIDTOWN — "Les Misérables" came back to Broadway Monday night — but not on stage.

The highly anticipated film version of one of the most successful theater productions ever had its Manhattan premiere Monday night at the Ziegfeld Theatre on West 54th Street.

The film's superstar cast Anne Hathaway, Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Amanda Seyfried, Sacha Baron Cohen, Eddie Redmayne, and Samantha Barks worked the red carpet for the Tom Hooper-directed epic.

Also turning up for the premiere were Norm Lewis, Zoe Kazan, Paul Dano, Cheyenne Jackson, Ari Graynor and more.

The film, expected to be a front-runner for a slew of Academy Awards, opens on December 25.
