MIDTOWN — "Lord of the Rings" alums Liv Tyler, Elijah Wood and Sir Ian McKellen celebrated the premiere of the next chapter of the fantasy series at a screening of "The Hobbit" Thursday night.
The Ziegfeld Theatre hosted the premiere of Peter Jackson's latest, with stars Martin Freeman and Andy Serkis (aka "Gollum"), as well as Chevy Chase, Archie Punjabi and Anthony Edwards.
This film opens in theaters on Dec. 14.
