CHELSEA — Cops are looking for a man they said followed an 83-year-old woman to her Eighth Avenue apartment on Wednesday and robbed her.

At about 1 p.m. on December 5, the suspect stepped onto the same elevator as his victim, followed her to her door and forced her inside, according to the NYPD.

The elderly woman wasn't injured, but the thief fled with money, a bracelet, several earrings and some rings, cops said.

The suspect, believed to be about 5-foot-10 inches tall and in his early 20s, was last seen in a long sleeved white shirt, a dark vest and a Yankees cap, cops said.

Anyone with information about the attack should submit a tip at NYPD Crime Stoppers or call 800-577-TIPS.
