Men Snatched Woman's Purse in Bronx Subway Station, Police Said

THE BRONX — Police are looking for two men accused of snatching a woman's purse at the Tremont Avenue D subway station.

The 33-year-old victim was buying a MetroCard at the station, at East Tremont Avenue and Grand Concourse, just after 12:30 p.m. Nov. 19 when the suspects approached her, menaced her with a pretend knife, grabbed her pocketbook and fled, police said.

Police described the suspects as two men, both about 5-foot-9. One was last seen wearing a green New York Jets jacket, a beige Gucci hat and black jeans, and the other was last seen wearing a black coat and dark jeans.
