QUEENS — A man was critically injured when a Con Edison truck hauling cable, an SUV and a pickup truck collided in Howard Beach Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.
The man's identity was not released, and the circumstances of the crash, at 84th Street and 158th Avenue about 11:15 a.m., were not immediately available.
The man was rushed to Jamaica Hospital with life-threatening injuries, the FDNY and NYPD said. It is not clear if there were other injuries or where the man was at the time of the accident.
A call to Con Ed was not immediately returned.
The collision remains under investigation.
