BROOKLYN — Police are searching for a man wanted for stealing a woman's purse in Coney Island.
Around 5:45 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20, the suspect followed a 45-year-old woman into an elevator at 3405 Neptune Ave., police said.
When she walked out, the suspect allegedly snatched her purse and then fled the building on foot, police said.
The suspect is described as between 25 and 35 years old, around 170 pounds and 5 feet 9 inches tall.
