MIDTOWN — How do you get to Carnegie Hall? If you're Selena Gomez, it's not with Justin Beiber on your arm.

Glamour magazine honored its list of inspiring women Monday night at its 2012 Women of the Year Awards, with Gomez dazzling at the event fresh off her split from the pop heartthrob.

The honorees included photographer Annie Leibovitz, architect Zaha Hadid, "Girls" star Lena Dunham and journalist/filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy. They were joined by Olympians Gabby Douglas, Missy Franklin, Kayla Harrison, Allyson Felix and Carli Lloyd, Ethel, as well as filmmaker Rory Kennedy, J. Crew creative director Jenna Lyons,  2012 "Woman of the Year" Erin Merryn and Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

After the awards, the honorees and special guests attended a special dinner at Monkey Bar, where they let their hair down with guests Katie Couric, Lauren Hutton, Julianna Margolies, Tyra Banks, Ethan Hawke, Chelsea Handler and more.
