Beer, Bourbon and Burger Fest Brings Booze and Beef to Chelsea

CHELSEA — The B's have it.

The patty experts at 5 Napkin Burger are hosting a celebration of beef and booze in Chelsea with the restaurant's "Beer, Bourbon and Burger Festival" next week.

The restaurant's first-ever off-site food party kicks off on Nov. 8 at the 404 Event Space at 404 10th Ave. For $47, attendees will get unlimited food, bourbon and craft beer, including selections from Kelso, Breckenridge Brewery and Tommyknocker.

A $67 ticket will get attendees VIP access, including an additional hour of food and drink. All in all, the party will serve up 10 beers alongside three bourbons.

The fest will include a selection of aged bourbons curated by the good folks at 5 Napkin, including Woodford Reserve, Four Roses and the new top-shelf offering from Heaven Hill Distilleries — the 92-proof Larency Kentucy Straight Bourbon, which is aged in barrels for six to 12 years.

Each of the beers and bourbons will be paired with a menu of some of 5 Napkin Burger chef Andy D'Amico's specialties, including beer-battered corn dogs, bourbon bloody mary shrimp, and plenty of burgers and sliders.

For those who like their booze with a little bit of sweetness, the restaurant is also serving up booze-infused desserts, such as a vanilla porter milkshake and a flourless chocolate cake with bourbon syrup.

The 5 Napkin Beer, Bourbon and Burger festival runs from 7:30 to 9:30 on Nov. 8. VIP tickets are good for early admission at 6:30. All tickets can be purchased on the restaurant's website.
