HERALD SQUARE — A small fire broke out at Macy’s in Herald Square Monday morning, FDNY officials said.

A blaze in a Dumpster in a loading dock of Macy's flagship store, at 151 W. 34th St., sparked about 9:00 a.m., a fire spokesperson said.

There were no reported injuries, he said.

Firefighters brought the fire under control about 9:50 a.m., officials said.

In April, more than 1,000 people were evacuated from the department store when a lit cigarette slipped through a gap in its entrance and into the basement, eventually igniting a spring flower show.
