Club Worker Shot to Death in East Flatbush

By Jess Wisloski | October 21, 2012 2:28pm

EAST FLATBUSH — A club employee was shot inside a restaurant and club early Sunday morning, police said.

The victim, a 32-year-old man, whose identity had not yet been released Sunday, worked for the Church Avenue club near Brooklyn Avenue, Pat's Palm Tree, but it was unclear how he was shot or under what circumstances the melee broke out at 4:33 a.m.

When police arrived, they found the victim with several gunshot wounds in his body, police said. The man was rushed to Kings County Hospital, but declared dead upon arrival.

The front lobby of the club was shot up, with shards of glass and a bullet hole in the front door, on Sunday morning, and police said an investigation was ongoing.

Calls to the club Sunday afternoon were not picked up.
