ROCKAWAY BEACH — A 33-year-old man was killed when his Lincoln Navigator smashed into a pole early Saturday morning, police said.
Anthony Luster, of Beach 84th Street in Rockaway Beach, was driving eastbound on Rockaway Freeway near Beach 84th Street when he slammed into a pole at 6:15 a.m.
Luster was rushed to Jamaica Hospital, but declared dead upon arrival, police said. The collission occurred just a block from his home,
An investigation was ongoing, police said.
