Cops Searching for Man Who Allegedly Spray-Painted Surveillance Camera

CLAREMONT — Police are searching for a man they say spray-painted the lens of an apartment building’s elevator security camera.

In surveillance footage released Thursday, the suspect walks into an elevator at 1373 Washington Ave., on Aug. 21 and glances at the camera before stepping toward it to spray the lens.

The man appears in the footage bald, in a large white t-shirt and blue shorts.
