Two Men Wanted for Robbing and Shooting Man in Woodside

QUEENS — Police are hunting for two men wanted for shooting a man in the leg after stealing a gold chain from around his neck in Woodside.

Police said the two suspects held a 34-year-old man up at gunpoint on 25th Avenue, stripped him of his gold necklace and then shot him in the leg at about 4:30 a.m. on Aug. 18.

The suspects then fled the scene.

Both men are described as in their 20s, between 5-foot-9 and 5-foot-10 and weighing about 180 pounds. One suspect had braids and was wearing a white T-shirt. The other was last seen wearing an orange T-shirt.
