New TriBeCa Restaurant Atera Wins Two Michelin Stars

TRIBECA — Atera, a tiny TriBeCa restaurant that's been open for less than a year, was awarded two stars Tuesday by the presigious Michelin Guide.

The restaurant at 77 Worth St., near Church Street, which serves only tasting menus, joined six other elite New York restaurants in the two-star category, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Other restaurants to receive two stars were Corton, Gilt, Gordon Ramsay at the London, Marea, Momofuku Ko and Soto.

Restaurants to receive Michelin's highest three-star rating were Chef's Table at Brooklyn Fare, Daniel, Eleven Madison Park, Jean Georges, Le Bernardin, Masa and Per Se.
