THE BRONX — A man and a woman were shot inside a Wakefield building late Thursday afternoon, officials said.
The victims were shot at 707 E. 242nd St., near White Plains Road, about 5:40 p.m., the NYPD and FDNY said.
The man and woman, who police said are in their 20s, were rushed to Jacobi Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.
Police were investigating, and no arrests had been made as of Thursday evening.
