MIDTOWN EAST — A man lifted an iPhone from the backpack of a decoy cop on a crowded 6 train Friday afternoon, police said.
An NYPD Transit Bureau decoy unit boarded the southbound Lexington Avenue train at 51st Street and before the train had gone one stop, Khomali Vinson reached into an undercover cop's backpack and stole an Apple iPhone, police said.
Cops nabbed the 20-year-old Vinson as he got off the train at 42nd Street and charged him with grand larceny.
