CANARSIE — A smoke bomb dropped off at a Rockaway Parkway firehouse caused a scare Thursday morning, the FDNY said.

An unidentified person turned in the device at Engine 257 and Ladder 170, located at 1361 Rockaway Parkway near Farragut Road, about 11:15 a.m., a fire spokesman said.

Firefighters notified the NYPD's bomb squad, which deemed the smoke bomb harmless, the spokesman said.

No one was injured, officials said.
