NYPD Releases Video of Wild Robbery in Bronx Laundromat

By Dan Rivoli | September 19, 2012 8:35am

THE BRONX — Cops are searching for four suspects who allegedly robbed a Wakefield laundromat and attacked a worker Sunday night.

The NYPD has released a video showing the suspects pouncing on the man, possibly an employee of Clean Laundryland Laundromat, at 4027 White Plains Rd. just after 10:30 that night.

In the video, the 46-year-old man is in the midst of a fistfight with a man wearing a blue-hooded sweatshirt and black pants with white stripes.

Meanwhile, the video captured two women — one wearing a long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans and a yellow baseball cap, and the other dressed in a white tank top and blue denim shorts — joined in the attack, hitting the victim with a stick.

Once the suspects and the victim spill outside, a fourth robber, a man wearing a grey hoodie and black pants, is seen walking into a room and later leaving the laundromat hauling off a cash register.

No one has been arrested.

Cops are asking anyone with information about the incident to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). Tips can also be submitted at NYPDCrimeStoppers.com or by texting 274637 (CRIMES), then entering TIP577.
