Cops Looking for Suspects in Woodside Gentlemen's Club Shooting

By Trevor Kapp | September 18, 2012 11:20am

QUEENS — Cops are hunting for seven men wanted in connection with a non-fatal shooting inside a Woodside club earlier this month.

The suspects entered Starlets Gentlemen’s Club 49-09 25th Ave., near 49th Street, about 3:45 a.m. on Sept. 7, but were escorted out after starting a fight.

Minutes later, they returned and fired into a crowd, striking a 42-year-old man in the back. The victim was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition, cops said.

The group fled the location in multiple vehicles: a four-door black Audi with a brown pinstripe, a gray Nissan Maxima and a dark color SUV, police said.

It was unclear if the man who was struck was the target of the shooting.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). Tips can also be submitted at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577.
