UPPER EAST SIDE — A maid slipped, fell, and broke her leg inside a posh Park Avenue penthouse, according to the FDNY.
A source said that the maid had just arrived at work at approximately 9 a.m. when she fell on some stairs in an apartment at 812 Park Avenue.
The building is home to Edgar Bronfman Jr. — an heir to the Seagram liquor empire and former chair of Warner Music — who reportedly bought a 6,500 square foot penthouse at the building in 2011, according to NYC Department of Finance Records. The Observer described the apartment as a five-bedroom triplex.
The woman was transported to Lenox Hill Hospital.
