QUEENS — A car will explode in Long Island City Friday morning as part of a TV shoot, officials said.

The explosion, at Second Street and 54th Avenue, will occur between 8:30 and 11 a.m., the NYPD said.

Crews will film the detonation for an episode of the upcoming ABC television show “Zero Hour” starring Anthony Edwards, formerly of "ER."

Premiering in 2013, the show focuses on Edwards as a magazine publisher who must unravel a centuries-old involving 12 antique clocks, after his wife, played by actress Jacinda Barrett, is kidnapped.

The show’s executive producer Lorenzo DiBonaventura was a producer on the "Transformers" and "G.I. Joe" film franchises.
