MANHATTAN — A downtown 1 train at the West 66th Street subway station at Broadway clipped a pedestrian who was walking along the platform Wednesday, officials said.
The unidentified man was walking along the edge of the southbound 1 train platform around 10:20 a.m. when an incoming subway hit him, according to MTA spokesman Kevin Ortiz. The pedestrian was taken to Roosevelt Hospital in stable condition, Ortiz said.
An FDNY spokesman said the man was in stable condition.
The MTA said service on the 1 train line is back on a regular schedule, with some delays.
