MIDTOWN — Police are hunting for a man who allegedly impersonated a police officer before robbing a spa.
The man, who police said was in his 20s, knocked on the door of Manhattan Rainbow Spa June 21, at 10:03 p.m., and showed the victim, a 53-year-old woman, a badge of unknown origins.
Police said once the victim allowed him inside the West 45th Street premises, he demanded money, and then fled the location.
