GREENWOOD HEIGHTS — A construction crew working to expand Green-Wood Cemetery's crematorium hit a gas line Wednesday, fire and cemetery officals said.

No one was hurt in the noon-time mishap.

"No one has been evacuated," said Colleen Roche, Green-Wood spokeswoman. "It's business as usual at Green-Wood."

Workers said, however, that a 12-foot section of pipe needs to be replaced, likely halting construction for several hours.

The Fire Department and National Grid were on scene repairing the leak Wednesday afternoon.
