QUEENS — Celebrities took to the red carpet at Flushing Meadows Corona Park Monday night for the opening ceremonies of the U.S. Open.
Several notable stars made an appearance at the event, including actor Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria Thomas, Mayor Michael Bloomberg and his girlfriend Diana Taylor, and actor Stanley Tucci and his wife Felicity Blunt.
"American Idol" winner also Jordin Sparks made an appearance before signing the National Anthem to kick off the tournament.
