BROOKLYN — An off-duty NYPD traffic enforcement agent was arrested in Brooklyn on Tuesday night and charged with rape.
Police picked up 25-year-old Charles Taylor at 11:55 p.m. within Brooklyn's 84 Precinct, which covers Brooklyn Heights and Boreum Hill.
Taylor knew the victim, police said.
He was suspended without pay.
Officials did not immediately provide additional information on Taylor’s charges and the circumstances around the alleged rape. Taylor was awaiting arraignment on Wednesday evening.
