NEW YORK — Gwyneth Paltrow is a good friend to have.
The Oscar winner hosted a screening for pal Jake Gyllenhaal's new film "End of Watch" at Goose Creek in East Hampton Sunday evening, drawing the crème de la crème of the Hamptons summer crowd.
Jessica and Jerry Seinfeld co-hosted the event, which drew such boldface names as designer Donna Karan, supermodel and new mom Molly Sims, Katie Lee, and Peter and Harry Brant.
In the film, which co-stars Michael Pena and Anna Kendrick, Gyllenhaal plays a young police officer in Los Angeles who is marked for death after a routine traffic stop involving a criminal cartel.
"End of Watch" hits theaters on September 21.
