LINCOLN CENTER — The iPad has a few high-profile defectors.
A star-studded crew turned out to Jazz at Lincoln Center's Frederick P. Rose Hall Wednesday night for Samsung's "Meet the New Way" launch party, which debuted the newest version of its Galaxy Note tablet.
Kelly Osbourne, Debra Messing, Camilla Belle, Anna Kendrick, Tracy Morgan, models Kate Upton and Julie Henderson, director Baz Luhrmann, fashion designer Zac Posen and former Olympic skater Sarah Hughes turned out to check out the electronic gadget. They were serenaded by perfomances from Swizz Beatz and Icona Pop.
The new tablet, set to hit shelves Thursday, retails for $499 and is expected to give the ever-popular iPad a run for its money.
