WAKEFIELD — A man was taken to the hospital after a fire at a two-story home in the Bronx, fire officials said.
The fire broke out at 11:45 a.m. on the second floor of the Baychester Avenue private dwelling, near Pitman Avenue, and was put out by 12:06 p.m., the FDNY said.
It was not clear how the man was injured, but he was transported to Our Lady of Mercy Hospital in the Bronx.
