HAMILTON HEIGHTS — A 42-year-old motorcyclist was killed Monday when he lost control of his bike and slammed into two parked cars just five blocks from his home in Hamilton Heights, the NYPD reported.

Cameron Wharton was riding his 2004 Honda CBR motorcycle north on St. Nicholas Place "at a high rate of speed," police said, when he struck the two vehicles at West 152nd Street just before 10 p.m.

Wharton, who lived nearby, was rushed to Harlem Hospital, where he died, police said.

No criminality was suspected. The investigation was ongoing.
