BROOKLYN — A 19-year-old man was shot in the stomach in East New York Tuesday evening, police and fire officials said.
The man was shot at 1211 Loring Ave. just before 6 p.m., the NYPD and the FDNY said.
He was taken to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in serious condition but was not likely to die, an FDNY spokesman said.
Police had not made any arrests as of 9 p.m. Tuesday, an NYPD spokeswoman said.
