JAMAICA ESTATES — The NYPD is on the hunt for a man who robbed a Jamaica Estates bank at gunpoint on Monday — the third of three robberies committed in the borough in a two-hour span.

Cops said the suspect entered the Astoria Federal Savings Bank on 179-25 Hillside Ave on July 9 at around 12:15 p.m. According to police, the man handed a note to a teller demanding money and displayed a handgun before fleeing with cash.

The suspect is described as between 30 and 40 years old, standing between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-9, weighing 180 pounds and having freckles. He was last seen wearing a light blue short-sleeved shirt, light blue jeans, black shoes, a blue Yankees cap and sunglasses. He was also carrying a black shoulder bag.

The bank robbery was one of three committed Monday. The other two were carried out by a man dressed as a postal worker.
