FLATBUSH — A Brooklyn teenager was attacked in broad daylight, and fatally stabbed repeatedly just across the street from Prospect Park on Sunday, police and the FDNY said.
Jeffery Jeune, 19, was approached inside the Parade Grounds around 11:51 a.m. Sunday, a police spokesperson said. On a pathway near Parade Place and Parkview Avenue, Jeune was stabbed three times in the torso, the FDNY said.
Rescuers rushed the young man to Kings County Hospital for treatment, but at 3:15 p.m. he was declared dead, the NYPD said, and family of the Prospect Park South teenager was notified.
It was not known Sunday evening whether one attacker or several were involved in the killing, cops said. An investigation is ongoing.
