CANARSIE — A man was shot dead in a park outside of the building where he lived in Canarsie early Saturday, police said.
The victim, identified as Quentin Fulcher, 26, was standing in the park at the rear of his building in the Glenwood Houses, at 5802 Farragut Road, when he was shot by three bullets, police said.
Police responded to 911 calls of a man shot at Glenwood Playground at 1:30 a.m. and upon arriving found Fulcher on the ground with a gunshot wound in each leg, and one in his torso.
Fulcher was rushed to Brookdale Hospital but pronounced dead on arrival.
An investigation is ongoing.
