Brutally Murdered Astoria Woman Buried in Her Native Kentucky

NEW YORK — The young financial analyst who was brutally murdered in Queens last week was buried in her home state of Kentucky on Friday, according to reports.

Danielle Thomas, 27, was found dead in her Astoria apartment June 26 after her Columbia-educated boyfriend, Jason Bohn, 33, allegedly beat and strangled her, authorities said.

Thomas was laid to rest during a private funeral on Friday, one day after hundreds of friends and relatives turned out to a wake in her hometown of Danville, Ky., the New York Post and NY1 reported.

Bohn, a lawyer who allegedly claimed in a note that Thomas's death was "an accident," faces second-degree murder charges.
