WILLIAMSBURG — Swimmers can splash in McCarren's water Thursday — but not until the afternoon.
The pool will open at 2 p.m. for the public after its morning ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9:30 a.m. with Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Parks officials said.
Its hours Thursday will be 2 — 3 p.m. and then 4 — 7 p.m. After opening day the 37,950-square-foot pool will be open 11 a.m. — 3 p.m. then 4 — 7 p.m. daily.
