CROWN HEIGHTS — A female bicyclist was struck and killed by a truck at Bedford Avenue and Empire Boulevard Tuesday morning, officials said.

The cyclist collided with a delivery truck at 11:40 a.m., according to NYPD officials.

Though the woman's identity was not released, a police source said she was a Brooklyn College student.

An FDNY spokesman said the victim went into cardiac arrest.

"It's just an unfortunate accident. We feel terrible about it," said Glenn Meyran, district manager for the Gowanus-based Dykes Lumber Company, whose truck was involved in the accident.

"We're sorry about what happened. Our hearts go out to the victim's family," he added.

Though he didn't provide many details, Meyran claimed, "She was coming down the hill [on Bedford] and rammed into him."
