NYPD Issues Public Call for Robbery Suspects in Williamsburg

WILLIAMSBURG — Police are looking for two men suspected of robbing a woman on a Brooklyn subway train.

The two men are suspected of approaching a 28-year-old woman May 6 at the Lorimer Street L train station, and forcibly swiping her money and cell phone before fleeing.

One man was last seen wearing a white tanktop, black pants, a red baseball cap, black glasses and white gloves. The other man was reportedly wearing a white T-shirt, black jeans, black and white sneakers, and a blue and white baseball cap.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).  The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577. All calls are strictly confidential.
