Fire Breaks Out on TriBeCa Scaffolding

TRIBECA — A fire broke out on a section of scaffolding outside a Broadway building Monday morning, authorities said.

The blaze began at 346 Broadway, near Leonard Street, about 11:25 a.m., according to the FDNY.

Firefighters brought the blaze under control about 20 minutes later, and there were no injuries immediately reported, officials said.

It was not clear what sparked the fire.
