OZONE PARK — A woman out for a morning jog got a scandalous surprise on Tuesday, police said.

At around 6:45 a.m., the woman, who police did not identify, was jogging near the softball field of the Joseph P. Addabbo School, outside P.S. 64 at 8201 101st St., when a man ran up to her and exposed himself, according to police.

An earlier report by the Queens Chronicle alleged that the flasher also attempted to throw the woman to the ground before the woman escaped, quoting a spokesman from the 106th precinct.

“These things could be prevented if we had enough officers to patrol all of the precinct,” the spokesman told the Chronicle.

Police say that the flasher escaped, leaving the woman unharmed. Police did not have a description of the flasher, but the newspaper reported the man was described as 5-foot-9 and in his 30s.
