Police Seek Teen Suspects in Bronx Robbery

EASTCHESTER — Police are looking for three young men they say were involved in the violent attack on a 14-year-old Bronx boy that was caught on tape. 

The NYPD released surveillance video of the Monday attack, which ended with the three suspects kicking and stomping the boy's crumpled body, which took place June 4 at 2:30 p.m. inside a Bronx building.

Police said the boy, who is the first person seen in the video, was waiting for an elevator in his building. He was approached by the three suspects soon after, who surrounded him. Two of the suspects begin punching the victim, while a third takes a video or photo with his cell phone.

Police said the suspects assaulted the victim, removed his sunglasses and sneakers, then fled the location. The victim was treated for injuries at Jacobi Hospital, then released.

Police described the suspects as follows:

One man is 16 to 20 years of age, and 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10; another is 18 to 20 years of age, and 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9; the third suspect is 16 to 19 years of age.
